About myself

Dr K Kalpana is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities and Sciences (Chemistry) since 2010. She has more than 15 years of teaching experience and also worked in R&D in Indus Bio Sciences Private Limited.
K.Kalpana’sresearch interests include Synthesis of heterocyclic compounds and their biological evaluation, analytical, medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry& spectroscopic Techniques. She has six publications, in various journals and conferences. She is currently working on synthesis of analogues based on anticancer agents.
K.Kalpana is currently working in Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology, Bachupally, Kukatpally, Hyderabad from the past 8 years and teaching for the undergraduate programme.
In past, K Kalpanamanaged admissions to various Under graduate degree programs at GRIET, Hyderabad as an team member with Dean of Admissions from 2011-18 (7 years). K.Kalpana has held many posts as mentor(2012-2018) and been mentor coordinator for 2017-18. She was also an active member in team for conducting internal exams of under graduate programme. She has been given an appreciation certificate in 2011 as best teacher for getting 100 % marks in her subject.
K. Kalpanawas the in-charge of Departmentalfiles(soft and hard copies) for one year. She has done feedbacks analysis along with result analysis for I B.Tech year for her subject.
